I have found that direct-metal welding by far is the ultimate challenge for me. I am a metal sculptor who works mainly with steel. In this discipline of work, steel and found objects, etc. are added piece by piece, taking on form as it grows. Working this way lets me and my pieces become spontaneous, and makes for a more expressive style. In my mind, there is a decisive idea of what the completed piece will represent, but I am always amazed and thrilled at the final outcome. My sculptures are a reflection of my curiosity and observation in nature and the environment that surrounds me. I have great satisfaction in knowing each of my sculptures are one of a kind, each one fabricated by my hands.
